THE CHALLENGE

Ouida wanted to incorporate all facets of what she does into one business. She was not sure where to start in order to reach her target market and build her brand messaging. Not knowing what direction to take was making it hard to reach them successfully. Her social media platforms all gave different messages and focuses. There was no clear objective and reaching her audience was extremely limited and strained.

THE SOLUTION

My focus was to take Ouida’s story first, being a former lesbian woman, and connect it to other women on a similar journey who want support in their transition. There were also multiple layers of her businesses that we uncovered during our discovery session that we found would support these women spiritually, economically, and in fashion. My job was to take her vision, passion, and experience, and clarify it in her brand messaging, tone, and visual elements through print and on digital platforms. Doing so would help her to connect with them in a no-judgment zone of love and support while she grows her business.
